Seaweed in the form of a dark purple-green sheet, cartilaginous texture and crustacean flavor with a smoky touch.

Uses in the kitchen

Blanched:
Dressed in salads.
Fried:
As crispy.
Boiled:
In soups, creams, croquettes, scrambled eggs, stews and empanada. As garnish in fish or seafood dishes. To wrap rice with raw or marinated fish: Japanese green sushi.
