Uses in the kitchen

It is consumed hydrated and raw in salads. Sautéed or scrambled as an appetizer or starter. As an ingredient in soups, creams, bechameles, scrambled eggs, rice, pasta or vegetable stews and as a garnish in meat or fish stews.
