MUSSELS FROM RAFTS IN THE GALICIAN ESTUARIES

Mussels from the Galician Rías Gallegas with canned wakame trunk, organically produced. ES-ECO-022-GA AGRICULTURE EU. We call bateas to the wooden rafts, with hanging ropes, anchored and destined to the mussel breeding. In Galicia, the origin of this sustainable method dates back to the middle of the 20th century. The rafts represent a symbol of identity of our coastal landscape as important as the horreos in the farmhouses.
