LENTILS STEWED WITH KOMBU

Ingredients

250 g lentils
1 clove garlic
2 small carrots
120 g onion
190 g cured pork belly
1 Chorizo
10 g dried Kombu
2 ripe tomatoes
100 g crushed tomato
75 g olive oil
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 liter chicken broth

Prepared by

1. Wash the lentils and drain them.
2. Peel and wash the carrot, tomatoes, onion, garlic. Chop finely.
3. In a saucepan, brown the garlic in the oil, add the chopped onion, diced carrot, dehydrated kombu, chopped tomato, crushed tomato and paprika. Sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.
4. Add the lentils, chorizo, bacon and chicken broth and cook for 40 minutes.
5. Serve.
