Six steps in the activities of the BIO_MARTERRA operational group

These are the six pillars in the process of studying and disseminating the effects of applying seaweed-based biostimulants to abiotic and biotic stresses in native varieties of vegetables, potatoes, and grapevines:

  1. Pilot-scale production of biostimulants.
  2. Germination, pot, and vegetable crop trials for abiotic stresses (high temperatures, drought, and salinity).
  3. Effect of biostimulants on yield in conventional (pepper, tomato, and lettuce) and organic (lettuce, tomato, and potato) vegetable crops.
  4. Effect of seaweed extracts with fungicidal activity on traditional grapevine varieties.
  5. Effect of biostimulants on yield in traditional grapevine varieties.
  6. Throughout the project: execution of the dissemination plan.
