These are the six pillars in the process of studying and disseminating the effects of applying seaweed-based biostimulants to abiotic and biotic stresses in native varieties of vegetables, potatoes, and grapevines:
- Pilot-scale production of biostimulants.
- Germination, pot, and vegetable crop trials for abiotic stresses (high temperatures, drought, and salinity).
- Effect of biostimulants on yield in conventional (pepper, tomato, and lettuce) and organic (lettuce, tomato, and potato) vegetable crops.
- Effect of seaweed extracts with fungicidal activity on traditional grapevine varieties.
- Effect of biostimulants on yield in traditional grapevine varieties.
- Throughout the project: execution of the dissemination plan.
