Organically produced sea Kombu preserved in salt Seaweed with an intense and iodized taste and aroma. Brownish color, with a fleshy, crunchy and slightly cartilaginous apparience. This product must be desalted before using: Soak in water and stir, change the water times and repeat the process 3 times. Due to its high iodine content, it is recommended to use it only for the elaboration of infusions and stock as follow: add 10 g of desalted kombu in 1 l of boiling water and cook for 5 minutes and remove it. Use this stock to cook soups, broths, sauces, rice, vegetables, fish, meat and stews.
Kombu (Laminaria ochroleuca) seaweed* and sea salt. *Organic production.
