ORGANIC AGAR AGAR FLAKES

Agar-agar is a natural polysaccharide extracted from various types of red seaweed (Rhodophyceae), mainly Gelidium and Gracilaria. It is a food additive (E-406) used as gelling, thickener and stabilizer in food applications.

Uses in the kitchen

For food use as a gelling and stabilizing agent in jams, jellies, juices, compotes, pies, custards, yogurts, curds, etc .; as a thickener at low concentrations in custard, ice cream, mayonnaise and other sauces.
